On March 11, 2016, floodwaters inundated Saint Joseph Abbey and Seminary College. The progress at the Abbey is exciting, and we take comfort in the generosity and kindness of the community who have made our continuing recovery possible.

Deo Gratias Registration now open
Please join us for Deo Gratias, the annual fundraiser gala for the Seminary College, on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Food will be prepared by award winning Chef John Folse. At Deo Gratias, patrons have an opportunity to meet many of the monks and seminarians who devote themselves to the mission of Ora et Labora.

Following last year's commencement at St. Paul's High School in Covington, the 2017 graduation ceremony for the Seminary College returned to campus this year. Good luck to everyone in their priestly formation.

The "Families Inviting Seminarians Home" program, or F.I.S.H., helps seminarians adjust to life at Saint Joseph. It's a ministry of St. Peter Catholic Church in Covington.

Enrollment Doubles at Saint Joseph Seminary College
Saint Joseph Seminary College welcomed a record 150 seminarians this year for the Fall 2016 semester. Seminarians this year represent 22 archdioceses and dioceses from seven states across the Gulf South region.
